Questions

When can I get it?

WidgetsPro is coming to Google Play. It isn’t listed yet.

How do I add a widget?

Open WidgetsPro, pick a widget, then a style and a size. Preview it light or dark, then tap Add to home screen and confirm where it goes. You can also add one from your launcher’s widget list and finish choosing in the app.

Can I change a widget after it’s on my home screen?

Yes. Open it in WidgetsPro and change its style, size or settings. It updates in place; you don’t need to remove it.

I can’t find a widget I added.

Tap the widget in the app’s list, then Find. WidgetsPro highlights it on your home screen.

Why are my widget’s colours different from the screenshots?

Tidal styles take their colours from your wallpaper. Change the wallpaper and they recolour. You can also pick a fixed Tidal teal.

Weather says it needs my location.

Weather, Weather details, Sun and moon and At a glance use where you are. Allow approximate location for WidgetsPro, and make sure location is on. Your coordinates are rounded and sent only to Open-Meteo for the forecast.

The health widgets show nothing.

They read from Health Connect. Make sure an app that records steps, sleep, heart rate or workouts (such as your watch’s or fitness app) writes to Health Connect, and that WidgetsPro has permission to read that data. Health data stays on your phone.

A toggle opens Settings instead of switching.

Android doesn’t let apps flip some switches, such as Wi-Fi and airplane mode on recent versions. When that’s the case, a tap opens the right setting instead.

My widget stops updating.

Some phones stop apps working in the background to save battery. Allow WidgetsPro to run unrestricted in its battery settings. For toggles and battery, you can also turn on Live updates in the app, which keeps them current with a quiet notification.

What are quote packs?

The Quote widget can show built-in lines, your own quotes, or packs: Qur’an, Bible, Torah, Dhammapada, Stoics and Poetry. They come from public-domain or openly licensed texts, and each pack’s source and licence is shown in the app.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no account, no ads and no analytics. See the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

Everything WidgetsPro keeps is on your phone. Uninstalling it, or clearing its storage, deletes all of it. For anything else, email us.
